We are living through an unprecedented time – I have personally not seen such a challenging situation in my lifetime.  It makes me recall some of the stories that my parents told me about living through World War II when they were young.  None of us know what will happen tomorrow, but then, we never did know with certainty what would happen tomorrow.

Still, it is a concerning time for all of us, and I want to reassure you that Estate First is open for business, and we are continuing to assist our clients with their estate planning needs.

We are receiving demand from clients to ‘meet’ us by teleconference or virtually through Zoom/Skype.  This is working really well and I want to encourage you that if you do need any estate work done, to consider this method of communication with us, from the comfort of your own home.  You do not need any software – we simply send you a link to the virtual meeting in an email.

Our computer and virtual systems are sophisticated and meet a high level of security standard in line with Queensland Law Society guidelines.

If you still prefer to come into our main office at Toowong, or to our Brisbane CBD office, then at this stage you can.  We have strong hygiene measures in place, including full wipe down of meeting rooms after each visit.  There has been no outbreak in either our main office in the Toowong Tower, or the city CBD office.

Please feel free to contact one of our Client liaison officers, Candice or Latiesha, or your Lawyer, with any questions on 1300 132 567 or [email protected].
