Nicole is a senior associate in the Estate First Lawyers team and has dedicated her legal career to our area of law. Nicole is passionate about estate planning and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to help our clients achieve their succession goals. Nicole takes a practical and insightful approach when providing advice to ensure that clients receive a tailored plan that provides them with peace of mind.
Education & Credentials
In addition to her law degree, Nicole has completed a Masters of Law (Estate Planning major). She is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner with the international organization STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
Complementing her estate planning expertise, Nicole has significant experience in complex estate administration and estate litigation law. As a result, she brings valuable insight into how to avoid the common pitfalls that can occur when aspects of the estate planning process have not been addressed.
Prior to solely practicing in succession law, Nicole worked in property and commercial law, which gives Nicole credentials to advise clients on estate planning aspects of companies, trusts and sophisticated property and superannuation structures.
Nicole takes a collaborative approach with clients and their advisors to help achieve the best possible estate planning outcomes. Nicole acts for a number of busy professionals and understands the value in being accessible and providing efficient estate planning solutions.
Speaking & Presentations
Nicole regularly presents to client groups, advisors and other referral partners. She has also presented papers to various professional groups including medical professionals (AMA Queensland) and legal practitioners (TEN Education Network). Nicole believes in taking an interactive approach when presenting to maximise audience engagement and to ensure the content is relevant and well-received.
